Dad’s scarf

I made my dad this scarf for Christmas. It’s just back loop hdcs to give it the ribbed look, but you can find the free pattern here on Ravelry.

No matter what I do, I can never get my projects to look and feel “slinky” enough. In the image on the pattern, her’s looks really floppy and soft but mine looks stiff. I try to make my stitches loose and I used the largest hook I have, 10mm. Either way, he really liked it.
